Introduction

We welcome everyone’s support and help, there are a few ways to contribute and become a PowerPuff. This doc is an evolving document to highlight the best ways to do so.

Ultimately, SocketSociety can only be created when folks with different skillsets come together for a shared purpose, to play a positive-sum(PvE) game. Our goal here is to do just that, bring folks with different skill-sets together to create value for the society long term.

• We want to see PowerPuffs embrace their authentic self, be creative in whatever way they decide to contribute but most importantly — focus on quality.
• We want to see PowerPuffs standup for each other, support each other on social platforms, engage with posts — really focus on operating with positive-sum(PvE) mindset.

Create 🌅

SocketSociety needs to create value. Value that lasts multiple cycles. Value that compounds with every new PowerPuff that joins the society. Your contributions will only be effective when they are creative. Don’t try to game the system. Do what you like and what you are good at and tie to SocketSociety somehow.

Whether that’s singing a song, recording a tiktok dance, crafting a deep high-brow thread, record a tiktok dance video, art-work, memes, videos, a sticker back, a zoom background, tutorials helping developers, send pull request or really anything you can do to help grow the society.

Communicate 👉👈

Early members of SocketSociety have a huge responsibility to define the culture. Communication between PowerPuffs is a large part of the culture.

At start, we will have only discord as a venue to convene and it will be heavily gated, to help us lay a strong foundation before we add more PowerPuffs. Over time the discord will open up to new entrants via new quizzes but it will always require a proof-of-work.

Everything we do at SocketSociety is about creating impact. It’s important we keep the quality of conversations high so we attract quality people. Create opportunities to engage with new comers and to reconnect with existing PowerPuffs.

Engage ❤️

Whenever we post from the main Socket account, or someone from the team does, be sure to engage with a thought, a meme, a question. Whatever comes to mind. Communicate in public, agree, disagree, fight, joke around. Any engagement in good faith is positive impact.

PowerPuffs need to engage with each other across platforms. Remember engagement is PvE.
